I am passionate about supporting programs with high quality staff development to bring forth the bright potential of every child through intentional, hands-on, high interest activities.
I have been a certificated teacher in a juvenile justice facility, co-founded schools for rural at-risk teens, program coordinator for a marine science center, program director for Girls Inc., an ASES program supervisor for a decade, and for the past seven years a consultant to programs of all types across California and the United States.

A 20-year veteran in public schools, museum programs, after school organizations, and school district-run programs, and 7 years of supporting afterschool programs across California, Marisa Miller can help you to provide a FUN, safe, and life changing program for your organization.
She has trained over 1,000 afterschool staff and has written more than 200 programs for the afterschool environment.
